Slings are devices normally made with small wire ropes and used for lifting and transporting loads.
They may have one or more legs, depending on their application. Some applications require endless slings (Grommets).
Several fittings may be added to a sling, in order to make it easier to work with loads: automatic hooks, sliding hooks, eye hooks with latches, links, thimbles, etc.
